We need YOU! Organising Committee

The Five of Nine club invites members to engage in our organising committee, whether its visiting initiations to welcome brethren, or organising events, we need your help in making the club grow into a bigger and better version of itself. The more the merrier! We meet online every couple of months as a committee and welcome any member who wants to make a difference. E-mail secretary@fiveofnineclub.org.uk if you are interested in taking part.

The Committee

Chairman -  Richard Freakley PProvJGD, Alma Mater Lodge

Richard was initiated into Alma Mater Lodge 1644, following a long line of family members to join Freemasonry. He recently served as the Worshipful Master of the Lodge for the third time. Richard is one of the presenters of “The Five of Nine Podcast” alongside W Bro Sean P and W Bro James Dalton.

Deputy Chairman & Secretary - Charles Ingram ProvGStwd, Coventry Foundation Lodge

Contact: secretary@fiveofnineclub.org.uk

Charles was initiated into the Coventry Foundation Lodge 4543 in 2013. He served as its Worshipful Master for three years from 2019 to 2022, during the COVID-19 pandemic. Charles holds a doctorate from Coventry University and is passionate about performing arts and theatre.

When asked about Freemasonry, Charles said “Freemasonry has been incredibly welcoming and non-judgemental, which was incredibly important for a young man emerging in the world trying to figure out who he was at Twenty-One years of age. Joining my Lodge has allowed me to make friends with those I would have never been introduced to in my regular day-to-day, either because of age, location, profession, or personal interests.”

Treasurer - Brother G Webbon, Stivichall Lodge

George was initiated into Stivichall Lodge 5799 in October 2019. George is an airline pilot originally from Windsor, now living in Warwickshire. George’s interest in Freemasonry was sparked by his father who joined the Craft in the 1970s and recently served as the Worshipful Master of Stivichall Lodge.

When asked what he has learned since joining Freemasonry, George said “Since joining Freemasonry, my confidence has grown when it comes to presenting. Learning ritual and “performing” during our meetings has been a wonderful and rewarding challenge. “

Committee Member Isaac Leese, Stivichall Lodge

Isaac was initiated into Stivichall Lodge 5799 in February 2023. Since then, he has became involved with the Five of Nine and has visited many First Ceremonies to welcome new members and has was voted to become a Committee Member.

Outside of freemasonry, he is in the Stand Triumph Pipe Band and competes throughout England and plays at famous events such as the Birmingham Tattoo.

In November 2024, He was also advanced into the Mark Degree, and Is looking forward to continuing this for many years to come.
